SupportEd, Dr. Carol Salva to host webinar addressing SLIFE Strategies October 2
FAIRFAX, VA — SupportEd, a leader in Multilingual Learner professional development, is hosting a free, live webinar titled, Elevating SLIFE Success: Strategies for Programming and Instruction, on Monday, October 2, 4:30 – 5:30 PM ET.
Multilingual Learning Coach and Technical Assistance Specialist at SupportEd, Shannon Smith, MEd, will present a deeper understanding of SLIFE programming and tools that participants can immediately put to use in their specific context.

Guest presenter Dr. Carol Salva will share her expertise on effective instruction based on her work with SLIFE. Dr. Salva is an award-winning educator with proven success working with unschooled/under-schooled, multilingual learners classified as SLIFE. Dr. Salva is the host of Boosting Achievement: The ESL Podcast which focuses on instructional strategies and resources for teaching SLIFE and the author of Boosting Achievement: Reaching Students with Interrupted or Minimal Education.
