This tool can be used to help plan units that leverage MLs’ cultural and linguistic backgrounds by incorporating opportunities for students’ home language use and/or integrating culture, families, and community members into your lessons.
Considerations
This template can be used as a collaborative tool to plan units in grade level or content teams that include the ELD teacher and other staff who will work with MLs during the unit.
